Netizens and ACEs had mixed reactions over Nate Porcalla’s indefinite leave announcement
After being embroiled in a series of cheating rumors, fans of BGYO member Nate Porcalla were further shocked with advice on his current situation.
In the July 22, 2023 post on the official BGYO Twitter account, it was noted that “Nate is on indefinite leave to attend to a family matter.”

Apart from Nate’s indefinite leave, the same advisory also revealed that his co-member Gelo Rivera is still recuperating from an unfortunate incident during their July 16, 2023 event.
The statement explained their absence during the Star Magic Catalogue mall show last Saturday, July 22, 2023.
ACEs react
The said post, which now has almost a million views and thousands of combined likes, requotes, and retweets as of this writing, drew mixed reactions from netizens and ACEs also known as fans of the group.
A certain netizen cried for accountability regarding the controversial issue.
The netizen asked, “Indefinite leave for family matter or due to suspension caused by recent issues? Address the issue upfront and if these are all false accusations, do the right thing to protect your artists. I love them but I won’t tolerate if those were all true.”
While another fan asked for “assurance” that the allegations are being addressed, another one called out the group’s management over the lack of statement regarding the issue “ just to clear things out, sa pinapakita niyo parang may iniiwasan eh.”
Meanwhile, there are those who offered words of encouragement to Nate.
“Come back stronger bunso @BGYO_Nate andito lng kmi. Pagaling ka pa kap pra next ganap ksma kna. Drink your medicine and we love you kap @BGYO_Gelo,” the netizen wrote.
“I hope everything is okay!! Know I will always love and support you guys!!” another one said.
Recall that Nate made headlines last week after actresses AC Bonifacio and Criza Taa took to Twitter to clarify his supposed cheating.
