Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano have shared behind-the-scenes photos of their upcoming Kapamilya primetime series, “Can’t Buy Me Love.”
The show’s director, Mae Cruz-Alviar uploaded two photos on Instagram on Monday, July 14, each showing a clapper’s board in what appears to be a taping set for their newest project.
Behind the clapper’s board are Donny and Belle, showing a hint of their respective looks for the show.
Belle and Donny reposted these on their Instagram stories.
X (formerly Twitter) also turned up quite elated over the recently released photos and circulating videos, as fans expressed their excitement over the phenomenal love team’s newest show, as well as their characters.
Other photos from netizens showed Donny on the set, with the location set in Binondo.

Prior to this, the two have also initially uploaded the debut poster of the series, gaining just as much attention and support from fans and celebrities.
What fans know about “Can’t Buy Me Love” so far
The upcoming release is helmed by director Mae Cruz-Alviar under one of ABS-CBN Entertainment’s content providing units, Star Creatives, as announced by ABS-CBN on July 25, 2023.
Belle will portray Caroline—a wealthy woman of a traditional Chinese descent, while Donny is set to play Bingo—a hard working man whose dedication centers the needs of his family.

The recent photos indicated that the project had started the taping, as it gears to air in the latter part of 2023.
During the series’ media announcement in July, director Mae spoke of Donny and Belle’s respect for their craft, commending both of them for the extra efforts that the two consistently put up to deliver quality entertainment.
“They want to make this work even more. Ito, napaka-hardworking na couple nila, na love team nila. And together, I know that they will go very, very far,” she says.
As for Donny, working with the director proves untaxing—made possible by the director’s openness to help them with their acting.
“There are so many questions that we have, and we haven’t gone through a lot of these experiences. And for her to say na, ‘I will guide you, ganito ako, ako ang bahala,’ yung mga ganung words of wisdom, it really means a lot, Direk,” he says.
Donny and Belle’s breakout tandem stemmed out of their pairing in the 2021 online series “He’s Into Her.” Subsequently, fans had more of them as they headlined the 2021 film “Love is Color Blind.”
In 2022, after the success of “He’s Into Her” season two, they bannered “An Inconvenient Love,” a romantic comedy film under the direction of Petersen Vargas.
