Claudine Barretto and Ara Mina have rendered an intense catfight scene for the finale week of GMA Prime’s “Lovers & Liars.”

A behind-the-scenes clip of Claudine and Ara was uploaded on TikTok, days prior to the scheduled finale of the Kapuso series on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
In the video, Via (Claudine) and Elizabeth (Ara) are having a heated encounter. Just as Via was about to leave, she has shoved Elizabeth’s shoulder, prompting the latter to retaliate.
As the scene escalates into a brawl, the two characters exchange derogatory slurs while slapping each other in a successive manner. That goes on until their fight turns into a complete pandemonium.
While there may be a lot of emotions in the scene, Ara and Claudine can be seen being cautious with handling each other. In fact, just after the scene was cut, the two of them went in for an embrace while having big smiles.

Claudine Barretto expresses words of appreciation for Ara Mina
Far from the heated scenes that Claudine and Ara usually deliver in “Lovers & Liars,” the two actresses share a fond connection and closeness with each other behind the camera.
Such is evidently established after Claudine took to Instagram on Saturday, January 6, 2024, her appreciation towards her co-star.
Claudine has shared a photo of her and Ara with a caption, “Gonna miss my ‘Lovers and Liars’ family. Thank [you] @therealaramina for being so sweet [and] compassionate. You are truly one beautiful soul. Luv u sis.”
Ara has also aired her admiration, as she reshared on her Instagram story a GMA News article about her and Claudine. Her caption reads, “Thank you so much sis @claubarretto for the kind words. Hope to work with you again. Lav u.”
“Lovers & Liars” airs finale episode
“Lovers & Liars” is Claudine and Ara’s first project together. The series is set to air its last episode today, January 11, 2024.
The story follows the life of Via Laurente, a businesswoman who finds herself in a romantic relationship with a younger man. The plot moves forward with her pursuit of cleaning her name from the death of her husband played by Johnny Revilla.
