Heart believes she’s now ready to be a mother
Heart Evangelista turns emotional after she talks about wishing to have a baby with husband Senator Chiz Escudero.
In the recent GCash Spotlight event on February 7 at Shooting Gallery Studios, Heart had a fast talk segment with veteran TV host Boy Abunda, who hosts the program.
One of the questions was: “Throw a lavish party for…”
Heart then answered: “If I had a baby.”
The fashion icon then became teary-eyed and said, “Pinapaiyak ako!”
Boy proceeded to the next question but then decided to go back to the topic of a baby.
As Boy was asking why she went a little emotional, Heart exclaimed, “Pause the time!”
She then explained, “Because I used to question a lot before why I can’t and it’s so hard when you question yourself.
“But when I look back at my life, even the people and the experiences I had, even the hardships, it makes sense now.”
Now, Heart believes that she is in a state where she is ready to have a baby.
She said, “If there’s any moment that I shall be blessed with a baby, it should be now because I feel like I’m ready as a person and I will be able to give more because I’ll be able to tell her more and share more wisdom.
“Kaya ang talino ni Panda, e! She knows everything!” Panda is Heart’s dog.
Does she continue to pray about having a baby?
She admitted, “I don’t pray for it but I pray for God’s will because I am at peace with that.”
It was in May 2018 when Heart announced that she was pregnant.
Her ultrasound revealed that she and Chiz were having twins, however, she lost one of the embryos as it was “smaller and behind in terms of development.”
In June 2018, Heart announced that she had a miscarriage and lost the baby she named Mira.
Heart and Chiz got married in February 2015 in Balesin. They are set to renew their vows this year.
