JM to Donnalyn: “Tagal ko nang nanliligaw. Baka naman?”
JM de Guzman is still in the waiting stage as far as his love life is concerned.
“Nanliligaw po,” JM admitted on “Magandang Buhay,” where he was interviewed with his “Linlang” co-star Kim Chiu on the Wednesday, October 4, 2023 episode.
JM was talking about the current stage of his relationship with celebrity vlogger Donnalyn Bartolome.
When asked about their relationship, JM said, “Okay naman po.”
Pressed if Donnalyn has already agreed to be his girlfriend, the actor playfully stated: “Hindi pa, e. Tagal ko nang nanliligaw. Baka naman?”
Recall that JM has been vocal about his admiration for Donnalyn for months now, with him even going as far as professing that he’s willing to wait.
When asked if he’s already getting impatient, he said, “Okay naman. Nanliligaw pa rin. Siyempre, kapag may gusto kailangang ipaglaban.”
Instead of feeling disappointed over the wait, JM cherishes every moment. “Napapawi ang inip ko kapag nakikita ko siya,” he said.
But what drew him to the actress-vlogger?
“She’s a very caring person, very sincere. Di ko alam, e. Nai-inspire ako sa kanya.”
JM and Donnalyn’s timeline
In October last year, Donnalyn threw a surprise birthday party for JM, prompting the actor to say that whoever her boyfriend would be is one lucky guy.
He later admitted having feelings for Donnalyn as he revealed plans of courting her.
From being known as an actor, JM broke into the vlogging community in 2022 with an eight-minute “Get To Know Me” video, where he got raw and real about his life.
“Papakilala ko lang kung sino ako,” he said.
Apart from sharing his personal life, he also spoke about his humble beginnings in the business. He shared that he attended VTRs at 6, accompanied by his mom. With over 20+ commercials, JM has done several movies and TV shows.
JM has garnered 100,000 subscribers less than a week since his YouTube debut. As of this writing, the Kapamilya star already has 578,000 subscribers, with some of his videos counting millions in views.
JM’s current vlog features a collab with Donnalyn where they went to Baguio.
