Julia Montes says she is currently taking things in stride: “Happy lang ako”
Months after Coco Martin’s relationship announcement, girlfriend Julia Montes now dignifies their romance subtler than the actor’s outright confirmation.
In an interview with PUSH Bets Live! at Avignon Clinic Ball, the “Mara Clara” star opens up about her contentment in her personal life, including her romance with the “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” actor.

“Nag-announce ba kami? Wala naman,” Julia briefly shares after she was asked about their next plans after the so-called announcement.
Julia adds, “Hindi, happy lang ako sa life. Siguro, masasabi ko lahat ng nangyayari po sa buhay ko, never kong ine-expect and never kong ini-imagine na ganun yung mangyayari when it comes to… in general. Lahat, sa work, sa life,“ she adds.
The 28-year-old also attests to a bountiful of grace she has been receiving lately, and that she has only gratitude to offer in return.

What’s next for CocoJul?
On her relationship with Coco, Julia says she’s living in the now, enjoying the blessings, and taking things in stride.
“Siguro ano lang, enjoy lang muna yung journey. Whatever blessing na dumadating ngayon, doon lang talaga ako nagfo-focus.
“No rush with everything, basta focused on what blessing ang binibigay ngayon for this year, for whatever moment na nandidito ngayon,” she says.
Julia Montes is set to banner “Five Breakups and a Romance,” with Sparkle artist Alden Richards. Coco, on the other hand, headlines ABS-CBN’s primetime hit “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”
Coco Martin confirms relationship with Julia Montes
Coco has finally shut the rumor mill down after finally admitting his 12-year relationship with Julia Montes during the watch party of ABS-CBN and GMA-7’s “Unbreak My Heart” on May 21, 2023.

As for him, the relationship, no matter how long, is “pareho pa rin tulad ng dati.” More so, he reveals that the decision to keep their relationship far from the public radar is a mutual agreement.
“Mas masarap ‘yung pakiramdam na pribado ang buhay namin, tahimik,” he says while pointing at how happy they are with their newly disclosed relationship.
Coco’s statements pointed that their relationship dates back to 2011; when the 28-year-old Julia was just 16, and the 41-year-old actor, was just 29 years old.

Over the years, the two denied claims of their relationship, with Coco even saying that he’s more of a “kuya” than he is a lover to Julia during the 2014 press conference of ABS-CBN’s series “Ikaw Lamang.”
Julia bore the same discretion, saying that a woman shall not take the lead in disclosing such information. Besides, she testifies, “Busy pa po ako.”
