Jeremy passed away at the age of 53
Katrina Halili grieves the passing of her partner Jeremy Guiab to cardiac arrest on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
Jeremy, who previously served as vice mayor of Wao, Lanao Del Sur, died at the age of 53. According to information obtained by PEP.ph, he suffered from a heart attack at Katrina’s home in Quezon City.
Katrina was able to rush Jeremy to St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City, wherein he was pronounced dead.
The Kapuso actress has not released an official statement yet, but she has taken her sorrow to Instagram to express her sentiments.
Attached to a photo showing Jeremy’s silhouette basked in yellow lights, Katrina writes, “Ang daya mo love sabi mo aalagaan mo kami ni Katie [crying emoji] bakit iniwan mo kami? [crying emoji] {broken heart emojis]”
Katie is Katrina’s daughter with singer Kris Lawrence. Both of them have agreed to doing a co-parenting setup.
Celebrities such as Kris Bernal, Jackie Lou Blanco, Carla Abellana, and Camille Prats, have then flocked to Katrina’s comment section to offer the actress their sympathy and condolences.
While Katrina still mourns Jeremy’s death, she still managed to show up on Monday, January 29, 2024, for the taping of her upcoming GMA-7 drama series “Mommy Dearest” with Camille Prats.

Katrina Halili opens up about relationship with Jeremy Guiab
In July 2023, Katrina has graced an interview with Boy Abunda wherein she reveals that Jeremy had been acting as Katie’s father figure. More so, she shares how her boyfriend guides her through motherhood.

Katrina shares, “Yung boyfriend ko yung mas nagga-guide sa akin para alagaan yung anak ko. Siya yung mas nagtuturo sa akin kasi stubborn ako, ‘di ba?
“Stubborn din yung anak ko, so medyo mahirap kaming dalawa. Minsan nawawalan ako ng pasensya, siya yung mas kalmado. Tinutulungan niya ako talaga,” she adds.
Months later, in November 2023, Katrina shares with PEP.ph that she envisions Jeremy as her end game. As she puts it, she is comfortable having Jeremy as her partner since, according to her, “Hindi ako naiilang or nagagawa ko pa rin ang gusto ko.”
Katrina currently stars in GMA-7 action series “Black Rider” bannered by Ruru Madrid.
