Can You Guess Who Hailee Looks Like? Her Mom or Dad?
Kris Bernal has recently welcomed her baby girl!
The announcement came fifteen days after her daughter’s birth on August 15, 2023, and Kris could not contain her excitement as she embarked on the new and exciting journey of motherhood.
Kris, who is known for her performances on various Kapuso television programs and in feature films, is now setting out on the new and exciting journey of becoming a mother.
According to her, it took her a while to share more details about her childbirth because she wanted to savor every moment of being a first-time mom.
She shared, “Alam ko hindi ko ni-reveal agad o shinare sa inyo na nanganak ako. It’s because gusto ko talaga i-savor yung first days with the baby, and since everything is new to me, lahat bago, so, yung adjustments, I just want to be fully present sa baby namin ni Perry.”
Reflecting on the experience, Kris expressed her gratitude. “My heart is so full, and becoming a mother is the most rewarding and beautiful thing in my life. Thank you, Lord, for giving us a chance to be parents! We have been taking some time to ourselves to get settled. For now, we’re really slowing down and soaking up every minute, cherishing it all,” she wrote on her Instagram.
Kris and her husband, Perry Choi, have named their daughter Hailee Lucca.
According to an Instagram post, Hailee was named after the Hebrew word “Hallelujah,” which means “Praise the Lord. The post revealed that while Hailee was still in Kris’ womb, she would play the song “Hallelujah” repeatedly to soothe her daughter to sleep.
For Hailee’s second name, her fascination with NBA player Luka Doncic inspired the couple to give their daughter the second name Lucca.
Kris and her family have been filled with an indescribable amount of joy because of their newest bundle of joy, and her colleagues and friends in the entertainment industry have showered her with congratulations and blessings.
Among the well-wishers are Kapuso stars Rodjun Cruz, Sanya Lopez, Thea Tolentino, Carla Abellana, Bela Padilla, and Andrea Torres, among others.
On September 5, Kris posted a YouTube video in which she showed off her newborn daughter’s face, humorously noting the resemblance to her husband, Perry.
She quipped, “Lahat ng nagsasabi, kamukha raw ni Perry!”
