Would you dodge a kiss from Jericho Rosales as Melai initially did?
In a true comedic fashion, Melai Cantiveros recently drew laughter following videos of her gushing over Jericho Rosales during the ABS-CBN Ball.
In the viral video uploaded last October 9, 2023, Melai can be seen playfully hesitating while greeting her ultimate crush.
For his part, Jericho was trying to hug Melai before she eventually hugged him back, only to receive a peck on her cheek.
Melai also feigned fainting after the kiss and crawled under the table for more laughs.

Melai has long been vocal about Jericho being her ultimate crush. The two previously worked in the reality variety show “I Dare You.”
Melai’s new movie
On another note, the “Magandang Buhay” host revealed the latest blessing in her career.
On Instagram on October 10, 2023, Melai announced that she is playing the “Ma’am Chief” role in the first-ever film of PULP Studios, a subsidiary of PULP Group Inc. The new movie, directed by influencer and host Kring Kim, was filmed in South Korea.
The actress-comedian said (published as is), “Guys, matagal ko na gusto i-share ito sa inyo. At itu naaaa mashashare ko na sa wakas. Papakilala ko lang sarili ko ako si Ma’am Chief at your service.”
She also posted pictures of herself in a police officer costume.
Melai further said that this movie was the project she had been teasing Filipinos about in the past weeks.
“Na tinutukoy ko sa post ko na shooting sa Korea and talaga naman thank you Lord sa @pulpstudiosph sa tiwala sa akin na bumida sa first ever movie ko na shinoot sa ibang bansa ‘Koreaaaa’ Kamsamiiiiiii,” she said.
She continued, “Sobrang best blessing ever to ni Lord sa akin, at simula ngayun maglalabas ako ng mga pics and behind the scenes sa photo ng mga kasama ko sa Korea with Korean crews and staff and co-actors and actresses,” she said.
Pulp Studios also released a teaser video clip of this project on its Instagram account.
Other cast members are Karylle, Bernadette Allyson-Estrada, Dustine Mayores, Sela Guia, Alora Sasam, Enzo Almario, and Manel Sevidal.
Korean actors and influencers are also expected to take part in the film in cameo roles!
