It seemed like love was in the air in 2021, as a number of celebs have come out as newly formed pairs. From actors and musicians to comedians and reality stars, there were a ton of famous celeb couples who chose to settle down with someone new. Though some pairings might surprise you, others have actually made a comeback.
So, without further ado, here’s our roundup of the hottest celeb couples of 2021.
January started off hot when the House star and former 1D bandmate were spotted holding hands at a wedding in Montecito, California. While they first met on the set of Don’t Worry Darling, they’ve since been seen taking intimate vacations and enjoying concerts together, along with Wilde’s two kids.
While MGK and Megan Fox technically became a thing in 2020, they made a splash in 2021 for their steamy PDA and grunge couple aesthetic. And when they’re not getting caught in fights on the red carpet, these loved-up stars are out and about on the town and hanging with their couples besties, Kravis.
Arguably the couple of the year, Kravis (yes, that’s Kourtney and Travis put together) made the most unlikely yet sweetest pairing so far. They’ve reportedly been friends for years, but only took the relationship to the next level recently, making it IG offish in February. With their love for each other being constantly shared on social media, it wasn’t a surprise when Barker popped the question in October of that year.
This couple may not come as much of a surprise, considering the fact that they’ve been linked since early 2020. Though it was only in 2021 — Valentine’s Day to be exact — that they went public with their love. A series of sweet Instagram posts and a string of vacations later, the pair has proved that they are still very much in love.
Surprise, it’s Bennifer! The former sweethearts made a huge comeback in April of 2021 when they were seen together in Lopez’s SUV. As the year went on, they eventually made their relationship super public with a ton of vacation snaps, dinner outings, and red carpet events.
It’s no understatement to say that the Internet went wild in July when paparazzi-taken kissing photos of the Spider-man co-stars were leaked online. Though Holland did say it felt like an invasion of privacy, it undoubtedly made it easier for the lovers to PDA, much to their fans’ pleasure. I mean, can we forget that iconic “My MJ” line?
The last but surely not the least couple-y couple of the year was Chelsea Handler and Jo Koy. The lovebirds were first seen getting comfortable in August, later going IG official in September. Since then, the two have mostly spent their time gushing about each other, with Handler claiming that Koy “renewed [her] faith in men” and Koy calling Handler “strong” and “incredible.”
