Tones and I rang in the new year with a new ring on her finger!
The “Dance Monkey” singer–whose real name is Toni Watson–announced her engagement to Jimmy Bedford by sharing a photo showing her engagement ring on New Year’s Day. Jimmy shared the same photo with the caption: “2021 was a tough year for everyone but I ended mine with a yes, can’t wait for my best friend to be my wife.”
The Australian singer, who’s been with Jimmy for around two years now, opened up about their relationship on “The Kyle and Jackie O Show” last year.
“I have actually been with my partner for a year-and-a-half now,” she said in July 2021. “It’s going so well. He’s just the perfect person for me.”
Tones and I also shared that she and Jimmy actually work together. “He was a [bricklayer], and now he’s my stage tech. In the last year-and-a-half, he’s gone to university, studied, got his bachelor’s,” she said.
“He comes on tour with me. He lives with us and plays footy for Frankston Bombers. He’s my best friend, he’s hilarious.”
