Eric also wants to learn Filipino to create more content for his Pinoy fans
Filo Nam Nation will definitely see more of singer Eric Nam as he recently signed a contract with digital talent agency NYMA on August 3, 2023.
The Korean-American singer and TV personality is thrilled to be inking a contract with a local agency, especially since this falls under his effort to grow his Filipino fan base.
Moreover, Eric revealed that the contract signing was actually a prelude to more projects in the Philippines in the following months.
“I think it’s important to have people on the ground who understands the local culture, structure, and ecosystem,” he said.
“I want to be as close, as friendly, as interactive with my fans here in the Philippines,” he added.
Apart from building a local career, the “Daebak Show” host likewise wants to learn the Filipino language with the goal of creating a TV show, a movie, or online content exclusively for his Pinoy fans.

Even if his projects are still in the works, Eric made sure to give something solid for his Nam Nation.
The singer who recently teased about his album titled “House on a Hill” finally released his latest single titled “Don’t Leave Yet.”
The song’s music video along with its album artwork premiered last August 7, 2023.
Recall that Eric announced his world tour last June with stops in North America, Latin America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
The singer was recently in the Philippines for a free fan meeting in Market! Market!
In 2016, Eric was named Man of the Year by GQ Korea. The following year, he was included on Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30 Asia list.
But Eric actually broke into mainstream consciousness in 2012 when he was discovered on YouTube. That very discovery paved the way for him to go to Korea and join the reality competition “Star Audition: Birth of A Great Star: Part 2.”
It was only a year after that contest when he made his official singing debut through the five-track album titled “Cloud.”
