“Thank you is not enough,” Tito Sotto says
The “Eat Bulaga!” trio TVJ, composed of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon, could not help but become emotional after being welcomed by their new home, TV5, at a media conference on Tuesday, June 20.

Tito, Vic, and Joey, together with the “legit” Dabarkads, were introduced as part of the Kapatid network during the mediacon. The two-hour mediacon ends up with TVJ shedding tears after being asked to give a message to their new home.
“MVP, yan ang boss. Maraming salamat, boss,” an emotional Vic says while extending his gratitude to TV5 chairman Manny Pangilinan. He breaks down to tears, cueing Joey De Leon to speak on behalf of him.
Thank you,” he adds with a cracked voice.
Tito echoes just the same sentiment as he shares, “Thank you is not enough. More than thank you.”
“Maraming salamat. Not only very kind words but very different approach coming from somebody that is high up there when it comes to business. Pagkatapos ay biglang tulungan yung iconic program ay napakalaking bagay po noon sa amin at sa ating kababayan,” he adds.

TVJ is TV5’s priority

TV5 welcomed the trio after a series of disagreements with “Eat Bulaga!” producer, TAPE Inc., prompted the entire host ensemble to leave the show and the network.
The TVJ program, which does not have a title yet, will replace “It’s Showtime” out of the noontime slot. “It’s Showtime,” on the other hand, had made the discretion of “respectfully declining” TV5’s offer to be placed in a later timeslot with a delayed telecast.
“It’s Showtime” is then welcomed by GMA-7’s sister network, GTV, to have the network as its new home, as announced by ABS-CBN on Tuesday, June 21.
