Last weekend was another milestone for Jess Wilson, who just tied the knot to longtime partner Moritz Gastl. The couple looked stunning in their Philippine attire, with Jess wearing a Filipiniana and Moritz in a Barong Tagalog. It was a beautiful beachside wedding where their family and close friends gathered to witness them say, “I do.” Take a look at some of her best looks during the event.
Boat Party
On the first day at Sunlight Eco Tourism Island Palawan, the couple and their guests got on a boat for some drinks and a pre-wedding celebration. It was a laid-back day, and Jess wore pink plaid co-ords from Janesuda. She threw on a custom baseball cap embroidered with #TheGastls to complete the outfit.
Friday Fiesta
For her Bachelorette party, Jess came prepared with a custom design by Martin Bautista. The two-piece featured an off-white beaded top and a frilly high waist skirt that bore a resemblance to grass skirts. It was fit for the night out on the island with her friends.
Bridal Preparations
Georgina Wilson took photos of her sister during the wedding preparations, where Jess posed in her baby blue robe. The serene waters in the backdrop complimented her glowing aura as she got ready for her big day. She opted for a natural make-up look and loose beach waves, which highlighted her glow even more.
Down the Aisle
Local couturier Vania Romoff designed the bride’s gown, which was a custom mini Filipiniana. The column gown flattered Jess’s frame and had a scalloped neckline, butterfly sleeves, and fringe detail. It even comes with a detachable skirt that’s practical for the occasion. Not to mention, the intricate appliqué on the gown was both modern and traditional.
Jess and Moritz are finally hitched after having delayed their wedding due to the pandemic. The civil ceremony in Palawan was just Part 1, and the couple is scheduled for Part 2 in Salzburg next year.
