Judy Ann Santos All Set For Acting Comeback With Three Projects

Judy Ann is set to do a horror project intended for MMFF 2024

It has been five years since fans last saw Judy Ann Santos doing an acting project with the primetime series “Starla” and the MMFF 2019 movie “Mindanao.”

After a long wait, Judy Ann is set to be seen acting again with three projects.

The “Prime Superstar” proudly announced her three upcoming projects at the recent Nestle Trailblazers event at The Blue Leaf Events Pavilion on June 7.

She shares, “Nakatapos ako, I have a series with Erik Matti called ‘Call My Manager,’ ito yung Philippine adaptation ng ‘Call My Agent.’

“And then, I’m doing “Bagman 3” with Arjo Atayde. Medyo patapos na sila.”

But what’s more exciting among these projects is an upcoming horror movie with Chito Rono, which they plan to submit for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.

“Hopefully, with MMFF, I am having an entry, hopefully with Chito Rono. It’s a horror movie. After five years, ngayon lang uli ako gagawa ng pelikula but after almost two decades, ngayon lang ulit ako gagawa ng horror. So, medyo exciting.”

Judy Ann’s last horror project on mainstream was the 2008 movie “Mag-ingat Ka Sa… Kulam,” produced by Regal Entertainment. She also did the Cine Lokal entry “T’yanak” in 2024.

Aside from her acting projects, Judy Ann is also happy that her online cooking show, “Judy Ann’s Kitchen,” is back. The cooking show recently had her reuniting with her “Gimik” co-stars Jolina Magdangal, Marvin Agustin, Mylene Dizon, and Dominic Ochoa.

The longest endorser of Maggi

During the Nestle Trailblazers event, Judy Ann represented Maggi, which she has been an endorser of since 2008.

She was then asked during the Q&A: how has it been being the longest endorser of Maggi?

Laughing, Judy Ann answers, “Nakakatuwa, di ba? Hahaha! Kasi yung pwede kang katabi ng salitang longest, pinakamatanda e, di ba? Tanggap ko naman! At proud na proud ako.

“I am a Maggi ambassador since I got engaged and now that I have a family, I’m proud to say, I’m happy to say that I am with my Maggi family for almost two decades now.

“So, that’s something I’m super grateful for kasi talagang andiyan ang Maggi literally from the beginning of my life. Bago ako nagkaroon ng pamilya, nagtiwala agad sila sa akin at hindi nila ako iniwan.”
