Xian: “We are seeing each other, and we’re very happy”
Xian Lim reveals that he is currently dating film producer Iris Lee—as revealed in an interview on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
It has been almost five months since the internet was rattled by the highly publicized breakup of Xian and ex-girlfriend Kim Chiu. Their separation made under “mutual decision” was then followed by persistent tittle-tattle of the actor’s involvement with the film producer.
Months later, the rumor rendered itself true after Xian outrightly confirms his romance with Iris in an interview with Esquire.
He says, “Yes, I’m seeing Iris. Just to clear everything, to clear all the speculations. We are seeing each other, and we are very happy.

Xian says that there was a need to speak up on the issue for clarification—first of which is that there was no infidelity involved back when he was still dating Kim.
He says, “These are the things that I want to clarify, number one: that there was a third party. There’s no third party. That’s it. That plain and simple.”
Xian has also tapped on the persistent rumor that he already tied the knot with the film producer. According to him, none of it was true and the allegations were made under baseless claims.
He says, “Another rumor: when I see my friends, the people who are the last to even care about these things, kino-congratulate na ako. They say, ‘Congratulations on the marriage in New York, and I’m like ‘No, I am not married.’
And there’s also this one absurd article or a thing said about me that I have been living with someone for years na daw. The only people I live with is my mom, my lola, my lolo. These are the things na parang, it’s just so absurd and it’s just…why?”
According to Xian he laments how Iris is constantly dragged into the issue. While the latter did not deserve it, Xian says that he has no control on how his relationship will be received by the public.
He says, “Things happen in life that we’re not going to be able to control. And as much as we don’t want it to happen, life happens. And it just pains me na parang may mga taong nadamay. That just really saddens me and that’s very unfortunate.”
He adds, “Ang busy-busy ni Iris, ang busy-busy ko. She has a lot on her plate, and I have a lot on my plate. And you know, she doesn’t deserve all that flak. We don’t deserve that because all the things na people are saying, there’s not truth to any of it.”

Xian and Iris’s romance started reaching the public radar when they were constantly seen out and about in public. The first of which was when they were photographed together on February 13, 2024.
The photo shows that Xian’s arms are wrapped around the film producer, as they posed together with other biking enthusiasts, Juan Karlos, girlfriend Dia Mate, and many others.

The photo was followed by yet another photo—this time, a trip they made to Bangkok, Thailand in March 2024. Xian is casually sitting behind a golf cart, while Iris takes the shotgun seat. They were accompanied by friends.
