Albie: “Hindi naman ako apektado doon”
Albie Casiño says there was no reason for him to visit the late Jaclyn Jose during her wake.
During the media conference of his new film “Kasalo” on March 23, 2024 at Viva Cafe in Quezon City, Albie boldly admitted that he was not concerned about the veteran actress’s passing.
Jaclyn—who is also known by the name of Mary Jane Guck—passed away on March 2, 2024, due to myocardial infarction, commonly known as heart attack.
While the actor remains mournful about Jaclyn’s demise, he deems that his presence would not hold so much bearing whether he attended or not. More so, he would only feel unwelcome had he done so.
As Albie puts it, “Unang-una, I just wanna say rest in peace, Ms. Jane. Saka condolences sa lahat ng tao na nagmamahal sa kanya, pero hindi naman ako apektado dun.”
He adds, “I don’t think my presence would be welcome there so ba’t pa ako makikiramay, ‘di ba?”
Albie was asked about Jaclyn since he used to date the veteran actress’s daughter Andi Eigenmann. However, their romance did not end well after they were caught in a controversy in the past.
Andi’s pregnancy in 2011 carried a lot of weight—particularly on Albie who was pointed as the alleged father of Andi’s child. In denial of his paternal responsibilities, Albie was then put under a massive backlash and feud with Andi’s family.
It was later revealed that the child—Ellie—was the daughter of Jake Ejercito, Andi’s ex-boyfriend.

Albie Casino excludes self from Andi Eigenmann
During the press conference of the ABS-CBN series “Can’t Buy Me Love,” Albie confirms that he is not interested in working with Andi in the future.
He says, “Yun, hindi. I can go the rest of my life without having to deal with that.”
Albie adds that there was no reconciliation between them, saying, “I guess at this point of my life hindi ko na iniisip yun e. Hindi ko na binibigyan ng energy yun.”
Just as much, Albie says that he will greet Andi should their paths cross in the future. But as for Andi’s love life, Albie just does not care anymore.
He says, ”I don’t need to say it like this pero wala talaga akong pakialam, e. It doesn’t bother me, I don’t think about it.”
