“I’m happy that you’re happy,” Rosé said to Andrea Brillantes
Since BLACKPINK’s Rosé helped Andrea Brillantes with her memorable promposal to her now ex-boyfriend Ricci Rivero, quite a lot has unfolded, and the actress ensured she updated the K-pop star on all the latest developments.
During Rosé’s Instagram livestream celebrating BLACKPINK’s seventh anniversary, Andrea engaged in a funny exchange with the South Korean singer.
While Rosé was asking viewers about their cherished moments as BLINKs, Andrea was one of the fans who shared. “My fave memory was when you noticed me for my promposal,” she sent.

Andrea’s update to BLACKPINK Rosé
Back on March 25, 2023, Andrea caught BLACKPINK’s attention during their Born Pink concert in Manila.
Onstage, Rosé and Lisa took a moment to read the “promposal” sign that Andrea held up. At that time, Ricci, Andrea’s then-boyfriend, accepted the proposal to go with her to the Star Magical Prom.
When Rosé read Andrea’s comment during the livestream, she reminisced about the promposal, saying, “Oh, was that you? I think it was somewhere in Southeast Asia. I don’t remember, but I do remember, I do.”

Andrea then typed another message, updating Rosé on her relationship status: “We broke up now.”
Rosé was taken aback by this unexpected news, covering her mouth in surprise and laughter. “You broke up now? Oh no, I’ll pretend I didn’t see that,” she responded.
But Andrea reassured Rosé that everything is fine now and that she is still happy, earning a thumbs-up from the K-pop star along with a heartfelt, “I’m happy that you’re happy.”
Andrea and Ricci became a couple after the UP Fighting Maroons’ victory in a basketball game against the FEU Tamaraws. News about their breakup emerged in May 2023, with rumors going around that cheating was the reason behind their split.

Ricci, however, denied any third-party involvement. Andrea has shared that she has moved on and forgiven her ex-boyfriend.
