Anthony revealed that there are ongoing talks about future projects with Maris Racal.
“Can’t Buy Me Love” actor Anthony Jennings is thankful to the supporters of his surprise team-up with Maris Racal in the Kapamilya TV show.
Popularly known as “SnoopRene,” the on-screen pair gained fame for their romantic-comedy scenes.

“Actually, nagugulat nga ako sa mga na-take na namin na scenes, nakakalimutan ko na, bigla na lang mag-trending, lalo na sobrang love ng tao sa ginagawa namin.
“And of course, credit ko din kay Maris, magaling talaga siya. Sobrang grateful na palagi tinatanggap ng mga tao,” the actor said in an interview with ABS-CBN.
Anthony was also asked about now being hailed as the newest social media heartthrob, given the impact of his scenes in the show.
He says, “Hindi ako sanay dun! Namumula ako kapag sinasabihan ako, masarap sa puso na nasasabihan ako.
“First time ko siya ma-experience, nakikilala ako palagi ng mga tao. So, bago sa akin ‘yun, ine-enjoy ko naman ‘yun, pero siyempre, kailangan stay pa din tayo sa lupa.”
He is also excited for the challenge that playing Snoop has given him.
“So far, ito ‘yung pinakamatagal ko na ginawa, ito ‘yung pinaka-wild ko na character na ginawa.
“Kita naman sa mga eksena namin, hindi ko talaga ginagawa ‘yun. Nakakatuwa lang na natutuwa mga tao. Marami pa sila aabangan na kakikiligan,” he expressed.
While enjoying his current success, Anthony shared his plans to return to school once he’s able to save enough., emphasizing the importance of education for personal growth and acting.
“Siyempre, para rin sa ‘kin, iba ‘yung may education, may hawak kang ganoon, may options ka din sa buhay mo,” Anthony said.
Anthony also confirmed ongoing talks regarding future projects with Maris but emphasized that nothing is finalized yet.
