The last time Kim Taehyung appeared on the show was for its 300th Episode celebration.
BTS member V, also known as Kim Taehyung, is set to make an appearance on the popular variety show “Running Man,” according to a recent report by Soompi.
The episode featuring V has already been recorded and is scheduled to air in September. The news was confirmed by “Running Man” through a statement to the Korean media outlet Xportnews, stating, “V participated in the filming session on August 28. The episode is scheduled to be broadcast on September 10.”
V’s appearance on “Running Man” comes just two days after the release of his highly anticipated first solo album, titled “Layover,” which is set to be released on September 8.

The show itself, airing on SBS, announced the news on its Instagram account, sharing a post that reads, “Running man X BTS V. September 10 [o]n [a]ir.”
This isn’t the first time a BTS member has graced the “Running Man” stage to promote their solo endeavors. Last year, Jin appeared on the show to promote his solo album “The Astronaut.”
Back in 2016, V and his fellow BTS members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook, made a guest appearance on the show. They joined for the special 300th episode of Running Man.

V’s solo album release follows the pattern set by other BTS members, as Jin and j-hope are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service. Suga also recently revealed his plans to start the process of preparing his own military application.
