Do you remember their team-up?
More than a decade since they last worked with each other, former on-screen tandem Jericho Rosales and Malaysian star Carmen Soo have finally reunited.
Carmen shared the happy moment on Instagram on July 7, 2023, where she caught up with the “Sellblock” actor and his manager, Marinez Elizalde.
She even poked fun at their age by captioning it with, “We all need reading glasses now! Yup, Kahit Isang Saglit was 15 years ago!”
The former co-stars even posted goofy photos of them together.
Meanwhile, Jericho came prepared with his own punchline and commented, “Reading your caption 15 inches away from my face.”
They first worked together in the 2008 Kapamilya soap opera “Kahit Isang Saglit,” which was shot in Malaysia and Philippines.
Carmen and Jericho also worked together in the independent film “Alagwa,” which was released in 2012.
Carmen Soo on “The Iron Heart“
As she is back in the Philippines, Carmen is also doing a teleserye as one of the newest additions to the cast of the second season of ABS-CBN’s primetime series, “The Iron Heart.”
On her first appearance in the series, her character, Harmonia, warned Menandro (Ian Veneracion) about the entrance of the transnational crime organization Altare in the Philippines.
Carmen’s Philippine TV career blew up so huge that she headlined an episode (titled “Videoke”) of the iconic drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” opposite Luis Manzano in 2009.
The award-winning actress further showcased her expertise in romance-drama by being part of “Your Song: Beautiful Girl” in 2010 where was paired with Christian Bautista in the four-part weekly series.
Another reason Filipinos have been so drawn to Carmen is her bubbly and lovely personality, which she got to showcase as a “hurado” on “It’s Showtime” in 2011.
