“Ang laki talaga ng pagkakamali ko do’n kay Sofia. I wish it didn’t happen,” says Diego
“A Glimpse Of Forever” actor Diego Loyzaga reveals that he considers Sofia Andres as his “TOTGA,” or “The One That Got Away.”
In an interview with Aiko Melendez on her YouTube channel, Diego admitted to having made a significant mistake during their time together.
“Kasi ang laki talaga ng pagkakamali ko do’n kay Sofia. I wish it didn’t happen. I’m very open naman about it, that I made a really big mistake. I was a kid, I was 20 or 21 years old [at that time],” he expressed.
While he did not elaborate on the details of the mistake he was talking about, Diego is happy with how Sofia was able to achieve her dreams.
“I’m so proud. I’m so happy for her. I remember when we were together pa, the things that she has now, ‘yun ‘yung mga binabanggit niya noong time na ‘yon na sana magkaroon siya, and she has everything now,” he tells Aiko.
Diego revealed that they hadn’t seen each other since their breakup.
“I remember the last time I saw her, I went to where she was and I tried to seek closure. This was a long time ago,” he recalls.
Diego and Sofia previously worked together as onscreen partners in the 2017 ABS-CBN afternoon series “Pusong Ligaw.”
But before the show, Diego and Sofia were already seen with each other in events, having worked together in the primetime series “Forevermore.”
In 2018, however, Diego and Sofia have decided to call it quits.
At present, Sofia is in a relationship with her non-showbiz boyfriend, Daniel Miranda, with whom she has a daughter.
Meanwhile, Diego, who described himself as “single,” maintains a good relationship with Alexis Suapengco, the mother of his daughter Hailey.
