Dominic and Daniel are distant with each other since 2020
Dominic Roque has bared in an interview that he and Daniel Padilla are not on speaking terms, therefore excluding the fellow actor in his guests at his upcoming wedding with Bea Alonzo.
In a recently concluded Thanksgiving party for a beauty and wellness brand on Saturday, January 20, 2024, Dominic was asked by some members of the press if he would be having Daniel and Kathryn Bernardo over at his wedding.
Dominic quickly answers, “Si Kath,” to which a press member further asks, “Si Kath lang, kasi mas close ka sa kanya?”
In an outright confirmation, the 33-year-old actor expounds, “Oo, kasi hindi pa naman kami okay ni DJ [Daniel]. I mean, we’re not talking since 2020. We haven’t seen each other for the longest time since 2020.”

While this is the case, Dominic emphasizes that the invitation is not yet final and he has yet to settle the list of entourage with Bea.
Aside from Kathryn, Dominic says that they will extend the invitation to other close friends, such as Marco Gumabao, Khalil Ramos, and Patrick Sugui.
Dominic is known as a close friend of KathNiel; together, they form an inner social circle called Team Nguya composed of other friends, Marco, Patrick, Ria Atayde, Zanjoe Marudo, Joe Vargas, Alora Sasam, and Joshua Garcia.
Also included in the circle are real-life couples, Khalil and Gabbi Garcia, and Sofia Andres and Daniel Miranda.
Dominic and Bea got engaged to each other in July 2023, but other than that, details of their wedding are not yet disclosed to the public.

Dominic Roque and Daniel Padilla’s fallout
While Dominic opted out from disclosing the reason behind their indifference, their seeming feud was made more evident after unfollowing each other on Instagram.
This was then brought more closely to the public after entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz talked about the issue at length through a YouTube vlog published on August 15, 2021.
Part of the tittle-tattle was a rumor that Dominic had ghosted Daniel’s younger sister Magui, which was said to spark their fallout.
However, this was then debunked later on by Ogie, while bringing up that Daniel’s mother, Karla, has also unfollowed Bea Alonzo.
Just like Dominic and Daniel’s case, Karla’s reason to unfollow Bea remains a mystery. But Ogie points out that it might be because Karla is close to Marjorie Barretto—mother of Julia Barretto.
Bea’s ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson is currently dating Julia. The two actresses are also caught in a quarrel after issues of infidelity hounded Gerald’s romantic affair from Bea to Julia.
