Rumors about Jake Cuenca and Chie Filomeno making sweet music have been going around for quite some time now. Recently, the 35-year-old actor finally opened up about it, as seen on ABS-CBN’s social media post last May 5, 2023.
He said: “I’m admiring her, I guess I can say that. She knew that I’m admiring her.”
However, Jake has remained coy about the real score between them.
“But for anything, like, it’s just something very ano lang – we’ve known each other for a while and we’re enjoying each other’s company,” Jake says.

Fans were also ecstatic to see them together in a cozy photoshoot for a magazine just a few days before Star Magic’s Hot Summer LaHOT Sexy 2023 event. In the said photo, Jake posed topless with a bikini-clad Chie.
The said post has earned over 20,000 likes as of this writing.
Meanwhile, even though the two did not arrive at the Bikini Ball on May 4, 2023 together, snapshots of them together surfaced after the event.
Speculations about their brewing romance began when netizens noticed that the “The Iron Heart” actor has been consistently liking and commenting on the sexy actress’ posts on Instagram.
Jake also often leaves fire emojis in Chie’s hot photos.
Igniting the rumor further was Jake’s recent Instagram story, which shows him and Chie along with several other people.
Jake’s last relationship was with Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa. However, the two confirmed their split in 2022 after being together for three years.
“Marami akong lessons na natutunan, pero siyempre sa akin na lang yun. Yung relationship namin noon ay sa aming dalawa lang,” Jake said in a previous interview.
Pertaining to his past relationship, Jake he’s not one to regret something despite its sad ending.
“Kng mayroon man akong puwedeng baguhin sa mga nangyari, siguro wala akong babaguhin. Ganun talaga ako magmahal, sagad, inuubos ko ang sarili ko para sa isang tao, and hindi ako nagsisisi in the end,” he ended.
