James and Nadine went for a quick hug!
Former lovers James Reid and Nadine Lustre were seen cordial to each other during Gucci’s flagship store grand opening at Greenbelt 4 Makati on Wednesday, September 7, 2023.
In one of the videos uploaded by PEP.ph on TikTok, James and Nadine have exchanged a quick hug and have even taken a group photo with other celebrity attendees Anne Curtis and Liza Soberano.
Nadine arrived without her Filipino-French beau Christophe Bariou, while James was seen holding hands with girlfriend Issa Pressman.
Aside from the brief encounter, Nadine was not seen interacting with James or even with Issa, who she once defended from netizens third-party allegations following their split.
Fans of the defunct tandem of JaDine have taken to X ( formerly Twitter) some of their sentiments over the reunion, with some accounts also observant enough to point out their accidental matching outfits.
Nadine and James have dated each other for four years and called it quits in January 2020.
Before their break-up, the two had worked together on a handful of projects. including “On the Wings of Love,” “Never Not Love You.” “Till I Met You, and “Diary ng Panget.”
Nadine Lustre and James Reid remain amicable
While Nadine and James’ relationship ended, the two have maintained a diplomatic relationship with each other.
In one interview with PUSH Bets Live, the 30-year-old actor says that they “we’re still very close,” while Nadine expressed her willingness to do yet another project with her ex.
She says, “We will see. We don’t know what to expect. That’s what I’ve been telling everyone. If it’s a good project, why not? I’m a very collaborative person. Hindi naman kami magkaaway.”
Years after their split, the two seem to be doing well on their own respective paths.
For the second time, Nadine was hailed as Best Actress of the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) during its 71st awarding ceremony on August 13, 2023.
Nadine won for her portrayal of Kichi in the film “Greed” helmed by director Yam Laranas.
Currently, Nadine is doing the horror film “Nokturno,” helmed by director Mikhail Red.
Nadine also continues to be happy in the love department based on how she flexes her boyfriend Christophe from time to time. Christophe’s Instagram is also loaded with photos of Nadine.

James, on the other hand, made headlines earlier this year over photos that suggest his romance with Issa Pressman.

It was in March when the two were said to be in a budding relationship after being sighted at Harry Styles’ “Love On Tour” concert at the Philippine Arena.
