The two stars posted birthday greetings for their son on Instagram
Former celebrity couple Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson recently shared a family moment during their son’s third birthday celebration on Saturday, October 21.
Markus took to Instagram to post photos from their son Jude’s arcade-themed birthday party, including heartwarming snapshots of him with Janella and a smiling Jude. He captioned the post, “Celebrating you, Jude.”
In her Instagram post, Janella also shared her sentiments on her son’s special day.
She wrote, “I blinked, and suddenly I’m the mom of a 3-year-old — this delightful, charming, goofy, intelligent, curious, and talkative sunshine of a human being. I could go on and on with the adjectives… but hopefully, we have an entire lifetime to show you that I’ll always be your #1 fan. Happy birthday, son.”
Jude was born in the United Kingdom in October 2020.
Janella and Markus’ breakup
Rumors about their separation began circulating after Janella referred to herself as a “single mom” during an interview with Bernadette Sembrano. Markus confirmed their breakup in September 2022.

Despite their separation, the former couple has maintained a commitment to being present for their son’s milestones, such as his second birthday and baptism last year.
In a recent interview with Ogie Diaz earlier this year, Markus revealed that their decision to break up stemmed from frequent conflicts that made them believe that separating was the best option to provide a healthy environment for their child.

However, he clarified that they are now good friends and referred to their relationship as the “best one” he’s ever had.
