Action star Jeric Raval confessed that he cannot watch his daughter AJ Raval’s intimate scenes.
On his Wednesday, August 23, 2023, appearance at “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Jeric recalled the time when he was invited to watch AJ’s movie.
According to the action star he walked out of the cinema when the love scene was approaching.
“Ganun pala yun. Hindi ko kayang panoorin.
“Lumabas ako, sabi ko na lang nag-ring yung phone ko. Pero ang totoo no’n, hindi ko pa kayang panoorin,” Jeric explained.
Jeric also confessed that he did not really get a call.
Another revelation is that the ’90s action superstar firmly said that he did not approve of AJ taking on sexy roles.
“Nagulat na lang ako, artista na siya sa VIVA,” he said. “Tinatago niya sa ‘kin yung mga pelikulang ginagawa niya kasi alam niyang hindi ko siya sinusuportahan sa mga ganung projects.”
With obvious resignation, Jeric has gotten used to the idea.
“Kaya lang, nandyan na, wala na akong magawa, sige, anyway, 21 ka na, e,” he said.
AJ is one of Jeric’s 18 children who has gained popularity for doing sultry roles on Viva Max.
Jeric to Aljur: Marry my daughter
Another controversial issue that has continuously hounded AJ pertains to her relationship with actor Aljur Abrenica.
AJ has been rumored to be dating Aljur after he split with his ex-wife, Kylie Padilla.

In the same episode, the seasoned actor shared that he spoke with Aljur when he and his daughter were still starting their relationship and gave one condition.
“Sabi ko, ‘I-ayos mo muna ‘yung sarili mo, Hijo, wala naman akong problema sa inyo kasi buhay niyo ‘yan e.’ Pagdating doon sa buhay pag-ibig noong anak ko, hindi ko na saklaw yun, e,” he said.
“Basta ‘pag ayos ka na, wala ka nang problema, pakasalan mo ‘yung anak ko,” he added.
He noted that his daughter is still young. At present, there is a 12-year age gap between AJ and Aljur, with the former only 22 years old while the latter is already 33.
The veteran actor also revealed that he and Aljur discussed their relationships with Robin Padilla—Jeric’s friend and Aljur’s father-in-law.
“‘Yung biyenan mo kaibigan ko, e. Ano kayang sasabihin ko sa biyenan mo pag nagkita kami? Baka sabihin, kinukunsinti ko kayo,'” he said.
Robin has previously confirmed that his daughter Kylie and Aljur were already separated in 2021.
In previous interviews, Aljur has admitted to cheating on Kylie. AJ, however, vehemently denies that she was the third party in their relationship.
