Is JK Labajo’s cryptic message really meant for his ex-girlfriend Maureen?
Singer-songwriter JK Labajo seemingly reacted to the recent post of his former girlfriend Maureen Wroblewitz’s post about being the “luckiest in the world.”
JK, in a now-deleted post on his Facebook page, stirred the netizen’s curiosity after posting in all caps last June 21, 2023.
While netizens speculated in the comments section that he was reacting to Maureen’s post, JK was quick to clarify, “Sumakto pa sa song na ire-release namin this Friday. Ang universe nga naman talaga.”
True enough, JK released his newest single titled “May Halaga Pa Ba Ako Sayo?” on June 23, 2023.
JK and Maureen have been together for almost three years after announcing their split in June 2022. They first made their relationship public in 2019 although they are rumored to be dating since 2017.
Both half-germans, they reportedly met on the set of the music video of JK’s single, “Buwan,” where they played young lovers.

The “Buwan” singer’s post came a few hours after his Maureen took to Instagram to make a birthday post for her still-unnamed new beau.
The former beauty queen, who considers herself “the luckiest girl in the world” pleasantly surprised her followers with the said post.
She wrote. “Happy birthday to the one that makes me feel like I’m the luckiest girl in the world.”
Maureen shared some of the unidentified man’s good qualities and said, “Not only because you are kind, patient, understanding with the most beautiful heart and soul but most importantly because your gentle love teaches me how I can love myself more everyday ?”
Several netizens commented on Maureen’s post, saying they are glad to finally see her happy again. Others, meanwhile, tried to identify her rumored beau.
Maureen finished first runner-up in Miss Universe Philippines 2021, which was won by Bea Luigi Gomez of Cebu.
Before entering the pageant scene, she rose to international popularity as the first Filipino winner of “Asia’s Next Top Model’ in 2017.
