Joshua and Emilienne had many people thinking are they really dating
Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia had the rumor mill running with speculations that he might have just found romance with Filipina-French golfer Emilienne Vigier.
The supposition started in June 2023 when observant netizens noticed that Joshua and Emilienne happened to be in El Nido, Palawan at the same time.
While there were no photos to back the claims that they were actually together on the island, the rumor remains on a roll after their time stamps suggested that they have been to the same vacation spot.
Emilienne had also tagged the actor in one of the photos she uploaded on Instagram. It refers to a snap taken underwater during a freediving session.
Another hint that suggests their romance was the very similar photos they both uploaded on their respective accounts. The photo shows Joshua in white shirt as he busies himself to make a meal.
Succeedingly, Emilienne later on published a katsu meal with a caption: “Merciiiiiiiiiii {kissing emoji].” Such is also reflected on Joshua’s IG, wherein he shared his preparation of chicken and pork katsu in what he labeled as his “Cooking Diary.”
On top of that, Emilienne further fuelled the speculation on Wednesday, July 26, after posting a photo of herself being hugged by a guy in white shirt and black pants. While the guy’s face was not shown, Joshua’s getup, as seen in his IG story, is enough of an indication that it could be him.
As of this writing, the two remain mum and have yet to issue their respective statements.

Emilienne is a 25-year-old child of a Filipino mother and a French father. The Filipina-French descent is a member of Taylormade, a California-based golf team of an American sports equipment manufacturing company.
If the rumors are true, Emilienne follows Joshua Garcia’s rumored romance with vlogger Bella Racelis.
While the romance was never confirmed, the two were rumored to have broken up after the social media influencer unfollowed the 25-year-old actor on Instagram.
