Netizens seek the real reason behind Kathryn’s move of unfollowing Andrea
Eagle-eyed netizens have noticed that Kathryn Bernardo is no longer following “Senior High” star Andrea Brillantes on Instagram.
Some Instagram users and entertainment portals observed on Friday, November 17, that Andrea is wiped out of Kathryn’s following list.
Andrea, on the other hand, still follows Kathryn on her Instagram account. However, what’s noticeable is that Andrea unfollowed Kathryn’s boyfriend, Daniel Padilla, on the said social media platform.
As for Daniel, he still follows Andrea.
Such observations followed after headlines about Andrea and her alleged illicit affair with Daniel Padilla broke across.
Talent manager Ogie Diaz has reported in his November 8 YouTube vlog that Kathryn and Daniel have long split up—and Andrea was the culprit behind it.
After rumors of KathNiel’s breakup reached all sides of the internet, Ogie was then prompted to claim that he was not the one who started the rumor. Instead, he got the information from an undisclosed source.

Facing a heavy backlash from Kathniel’s fans, Ogie has then spoken up on the issue through his YouTube vlog released on Sunday, November 12.
As for Ogie, he says that there was no direct confirmation from their end—only that they reported the hearsays that they’ve gathered.
Ogie says, “Ang kinakalat namin ay sana hindi totoo at laging may ‘Hindi pa ito confirmed.’ Ito naman, yung issue dito, ayan yung mga kumakalat at bali-balita. Hindi naman sa akin unang nagsimula yan.”
In the end, Ogie issued an apology to all those he somehow offended—be it fans or the celebrities involved.
He says, “Kung sa palagay iyo kami ay naka-offend, humihingi po kami ng sorry. Kung na-offend man yung iba sa aming mga ibinabalita rito, sa pangkalahatan po, ha, in general, kami po ay humihingi ng sorry.
“Sa mga artista po, na feeling nila na-offend namin sila, sorry po.”

Despite netizens’ claims, Kathryn, Daniel, and Andrea are still mum over the issue.
But what appeared seemingly loud is KathNiel’s subtle dismissal of the controversy, as they were seen together out and about lately.
In a seeming rejection of rumors, Kathryn and Daniel made an appearance together at a luxury watch brand event on Tuesday, November 14.
Kathryn has reposted some snaps on her Instagram stories—including photos with Daniel.
Even on Twitter, netizens feasted on videos of Kathryn and Daniel dancing at the event.

Daniel had initially dismissed breakup rumors on November 10, when he reshared on his Instagram story a snippet of Kathryn’s magazine campaign for Preview.
