Kris has one condition should Bimby enter showbiz
The “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino shares that her son Bimby may have to return to the Philippines to work since her medical expenses are already mounting.
Kris has recently given an update on Instagram regarding her ongoing battle with several autoimmune diseases. Revealing that her health has grown “more complex,” a surge of well-wishes flooded the actress-host’s comment section.
One among those who offered Kris prayers is Cornerstone Entertainment talent handler Cristine Calawod. She writes, “Love you madam. [heart emoji] Be well! We are all praying for you.”
As a response, Kris brings up Bimby’s need to go back to the Philippines to start working for her medical bills.
Kris writes (published as is),“Bimb might go home after my birthday. He needs to work because my medical bills are already getting higher & higher.
More so, she left a brief condition should her son decide to enter the entertainment industry. She adds, “But Tin, the stage mom is already saying NO to a name change. He’ll stay as Bimb. No last lame, like Drake.”
Speculations that Kris’s son might enter showbiz soon sparked in July 2023. At that time, Cornerstone Entertainment met up with Bimby—with Boy Abunda as his guardian–to talk about the opportunities that the 16-year-old can pursue in showbiz.
Boy writes, “I hosted a dinner for Bimby, totoo po yan na doon sa pag-uusap namin, we’re trying to explore kung ano ang mga pwedeng mangyari. The possibilities kung mag-a-artista ba si Bimby, ano ba ang mga gagawin but it was more of an exploratory meeting.”
Kris Aquino vows to put up a fight for her sons
In the recently released statement by Kris on Sunday January 21, 2024, she shares that while she’s already at the initial stage of lupus, she would still fight to survive for her sons Bimby and Josh.

According to Kris, she is suffering from drastic body changes since Thanksgiving. Her blood pressure is constantly fluctuating and her weight has been plunging since. On top of that, her hemoglobin level has dropped to as low as 8.7.
Upon seeing the results of her latest blood sampling, Kris has lamented her still-active Churg Strauss diseases and CREST syndrome. Worse, symptoms of lupus have already manifested, such as high inflammatory numbers, anemia, and a butterfly-shaped rash on her face.
Kris has been living in the United States since 2022 as long-term demands of her health prompted her to seek medical help abroad.
