Kristine: “Depende po sa project, depende sa mga eksena”
Kristine Hermosa says that she is very much willing to work with former on-screen partner Jericho Rosales, but the project should be under certain conditions and is worth her time and effort.
In a TikTok video uploaded by TV5 reporter MJ Marfori, Kristine was asked about the possibility of working again with her ex-leading man Jericho.
While the actress bares that she does not have any problem with the idea, she outlines that doing so will require a thorough review.
She says, “Oo naman, I think, well, depende talaga. Depende po sa project, depende sa mga eksena, basta depende. I need to see everything muna.
“Talagang i-filter ko muna lahat, kumbaga, kung worth it naman ang gagawin namin. Hindi yung masabi lang na may ginawa together.”

Kristine also shares that her husband Oyo Boy Sotto is ever supportive of her career decisions—it was only just her who sometimes gets nitpicky and has reservations in taking up projects.
She adds, “Wala namang problema sa kanya. Very professional naman din kumbaga, kung gusto ko, susuportahan naman niya. Okay naman siya. The thing is, ako yung talagang, choice ko talaga.
“Ayaw ko kasing gumagawa ng kung anu-ano lang. If gagawa ako, something that’s worth it naman, worth my time and effort. Siyempre, iiwanan ko yung mga anak ko. Basta yung magandang project, yung may katuturan.”

Jericho Rosales expresses interest in working again with Kristine Hermosa
The prospect was first brought up by Jericho himself, saying that he looks forward to having a “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” film with his original leading lady.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan Philippines, he says, “I’ve always said it. I want to work with Kristine because I feel like it’s some sort of unfinished business when it comes to our run.”
“It was the 25th anniversary of ‘Pangako Sa ‘Yo’ just recently and I told my manager because Kristine and I had the same manager before. I was like, ‘Hey, how is she? Do you think she’s going to be open to working with me?’”
“Pangako Sa ‘Yo” stands as one of the gems made in Philippine television, with its success made more evident by its eventual viewership in Malaysia, Singapore, Tanzania, and Kenya in the ensuing years.
Apart from the iconic series, Kristine and Jericho have also paired up for several films such as “Trip” in 2001, “Forevermore” in 2002, and “Ngayong Nandito Ka” in 2003.
Well-received by fans as EchoTin, their on-screen pairing has seeped as one of the notable tandems in local showbiz, with fans still clamoring for a comeback even until now.
Kristine is currently pregnant with her sixth baby with husband Oyo. Meanwhile, Jericho has parted ways with wife Kim Jones in 2019.
