Congratulations, Liezel and Justin!
Singer Liezel Garcia and YouTuber Justin Eagle are now married.
The two finally tied the knot abroad after almost five years of engagement. She announced her engagement to Justin in August 2018.
Liezel shared her life’s newest milestone as she uploaded photos from the special day on her Instagram account last July 24, 2023.
“Finally! Forever and always,” she wrote in one of her posts.
Justin likewise marked their big day by uploading a video on his YouTube channel.
“We are officially Married! Want to thank everyone for their continued support & encouragement over the years. We look forward to a bright & prosperous & loving future together!” he wrote in the video’s description.
Among those who congratulated the newlyweds were Leizel’s co-singers Yeng Constantino, KZ Tandingan, Jona, Marlo Mortel, Emmanuelle Vera, Daryl Ong, and Richard Poon.
Liezel rose to fame as a former contestant on “Pinoy Dream Academy” season 2 which aired in 2008.
The two have been in a long-distance relationship. Justin apparently is part of singer Bugoy Drilon’s circle of friends, as stated by Liezel in an interview with Push in 2016.
Justin marked that event by posting on social media: “It was on the sandy beaches of Puerto [Galera] on a sunny morning that I asked my best friend to spend the rest of her life with me. I am forever grateful God brought the most beautiful person into my life. I am so blessed to call her my everything. I love you princess.”
Before dating Justin, Liezel was in a relationship with Bugoy. They had been together for three years before calling it quits in 2013. The two remained good friends after that. In fact, Bugoy was one of the first people to congratulate the couple back when they announced their engagement.
