LJ finally got to “God’s perfect time” for her.
Netizens shared the happiness of actress LJ Reyes when her engagement photos with fiance Philip Evangelista came out online.
The photos taken by Nice Print Photography captured the couple looking so in love and happy through several photo carousels.
“In God’s most perfect time. Counting the days til she becomes Mrs,” the caption reads.
Some of LJ’s friends in show business also extended their congratulations via the comments section of the said posts. There were Chynna Ortaleza, Isabel Oli, Diba Montelaba, Ryza Cenon, and Amy Austria, among others.
Even the netizens weren’t able to mask their joy for the Kapuso actress.

LJ Reyes’s engagement
Recall that LJ surprised her social media followers in May 2023 by sharing a collection of photos depicting the proposal of her non-showbiz boyfriend.
In the caption, she shared a Bible verse that states that God has a specific plan and purpose for each individual.
“’For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’ Jeremiah 29:11 NLT,” she wrote.

LJ and her two children, Aki and Summer, have been residing in New York since September 2021.
She moved abroad following her very publicized breakup with actor Paolo Contis, her partner of six years and Summer’s father.
Aki, meanwhile, was her son with her former boyfriend, Paulo Avelino.
