Loisa: “Hindi ko nilalahat, sa akin lang yun”
Loisa Andalio issued an apology for her controversial take on solo traveling—explaining that her opinion was only applicable for herself and not for everyone in general.
The 25-year-old actress has received raised eyebrows after airing her thoughts about solo travelers in an interview with PEP.ph published on May 18, 2024.
According to Loisa, going on solo trips evokes a sense of sadness since travels are best enjoyed with someone—which in her case is her boyfriend Ronnie Alonte.
As she puts it, “Siyempre, mas na-a-appreciate natin yung napupuntahan natin ‘pag mahal natin yung kasama natin. Basta ini-enjoy lang naman yung mga moments na magkakasama kami [ni Ronnie]. Gumaganda rin yung view dahil sa kasama natin.”
Loisa expounds, “Minsan kasi, ang ano lang, hindi ko maintindihan yung mga tao na nagso-solo travel—parang ang lungkot. Kasi, sino yung kabatuhan mo na ‘Ang ganda ng view’? Grabe yung pinagdadaanan talaga siguro nila para gusto nilang magiging solo na lang.”

After drawing flak for her statement, Loisa then speaks up on the matter—this time explaining that her opinion was only a self-reference.
She says, “Medyo bitin talaga yung interview na yun. Ang opinyon ko dun, parang for me, kung ako magso-solo travel, grabe siguro yung pinagdadaanan ko para umabot ako sa mag-solo na lang kasi ako yung personality ko gusto ko kasama si Ronnie or yung friends or yung family.”
More so, Loisa has expressed her apologies, saying that she pays respect to everyone’s takes on the topic. She says, “Hindi ko nilalahat, sa akin lang yun. Kung na-misinterpret ng iba, sorry, opinion ko yun. May opinion din sila, nirerespeto ko din.”

In the same report by PEP.ph, Loisa reveals having to go on adventurous land travels with her beau. And with this kind of hobby serving as their bonding moment, Loisa says that she gets to discover more about Ronnie while on the road.
For one, Loisa shares, “Siguro, ano lang, na-discover ko na mainipin lang siya sa daan. Ayaw niya yung mahahabang, yung mga four hours na biyahe talaga. Sharing further, Loisa also reveals, “Ang na-discover ko sa kanya, pangit mag-picture din.”
As for Ronnie, he treasures the moments when Loisa basks in the beauty of scenic views. As he puts it, “Nakita ko sa kanya yung grabe siya ma-in love sa mga paligid lalo na pag umaalis kami sa malalayong lugar.”
