Loisa Andalio would instead take someone who owns up to his mistakes than someone who denies it despite being caught red-handed
Actress Loisa Andalio shocked netizens following her recent revelation that she has forgiven her longtime boyfriend Ronnie Alonte’s several transgressions in the past.
In the couple’s recent Push interview, Loisa explained that the fact that Ronnie was able to own up to his mistake made it less difficult for her to make allowances for him.
“’Yung point na inamin niya yung pagkakamali niya, yun yung malaking bagay kasi marami akong kilala sa past relationships ko na huling huli mo na, hindi pa umaamin,” she said.
“So, mas mahirap patawarin yung mga huling huli mo na, todo deny pa. Pero siya, aminado siya, at hindi na niya uulitin, e, ‘di okay tayo,” she added.
The 24-year-old actress further explained that she chose to forgive Ronnie simply because it’s “perfectly normal” for humans to make mistakes.
“Para sa akin, choice talaga yun, e. Kasi wala rin naman talagang perfect na tao. Kahit ako, hindi rin naman ako perfect,” she stressed.
After all, according to her, she recognizes the fact that at the end of the day, the key to a lasting relationship is to choose the person you’re with over and over again.
“Sige, sabihin na nating magkakaroon din ako ng [bagong] relationship, for sure, hindi rin naman magiging perfect yun, e. Kaya nga sabi nila, di ba, ‘I’d rather have bad times with you than good times with someone else,’” Loisa added.
Loisa on forgiveness
Instead of harboring ill feelings towards Ronnie, Loisa opted to forgive Ronnie not just to save their relationship, but to bring peace to herself.
“Kasi [yung forgiveness], para sa atin din naman yun, e. ‘Pag pinatawad natin yung tao, magkakaroon tayo ng peace sa sarili natin,” she stressed. “And in fairness naman sa kanya, deserving naman siya.”
The Kapamilya star even underscored that, for her, forgiveness is not really as hard as people make it up to be.
“Sa totoo lang, hindi lang talaga mahirap magpatawad. Talagang tao din kasi ‘yung mga nagpapakumplika ng mga ganiyan,” the “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” star said.

Loisa and Ronnie, who are collectively known “LoiNie,” first spoke about their cheating issue in February 2023 after Ronnie admitted that he was the only one to blame for what happened at that time.
“Sa totoo lang, aaminin ko, mali ako. Kasi yung mga nakatrabaho ko dati at yung mga nakasama ko dati, hindi ko nilinaw sa kanila at hindi ko sinabi sa kanila na kami ni Loisa,” he said. “Tinago ko rin yun sa mga naging ka-partner ko.”
The reel-to-real couple confirmed their relationship in 2018. They are set to mark their seventh anniversary in November.
