A day filled with excitement, fun, and prizes as PIE turns one!
Pinoy Interactive Entertainment (PIE) Channel has recently held the PIEsta PIEnalo Grand Mall Show in celebration of its first anniversary, with various katroPIEs joining their fans on a day full of fun, laughter, and prizes.
The event, held at TriNoma Activity Center on June 3, 2023, had a strong lineup of announcements, booths, and segments including exciting activities with the PIE jocks and the anticipated launch of the channel’s newest campaign—the Pindot PIEnalo program.
Kevin Montillano and Nicki Morena of Matching Matching and Shoutout TV spearheaded the program proper, with Konsulta MD and Unilab as the two major sponsors of the event.
Celebrities Jolina Magdangal, Melai Cantiveros, Jennica Garcia, Vivoree Esclito, Jameson Blake, Karina Bautista, Sheena Belarmino, Gello Marquez, Aljon Mendoza, Ralph Malibunas, Gillian Vicencio, Maxine Trinidad, Zach Guerrero, and Seham Daghlas were all present at the event as each of them brought the fun to the next level.
Even before the program started, attendees were able to ride the upbeat momentum with various gamebooths in the area. A photobooth, game alley, freedom wall, and a refreshment booth, among many, made up for a time spent while waiting for their favorite katroPIEs.
What is the Pindot PIEnalo engagement program?
During the event, PIE has launched the Pindot PIEnalo, an interactive reward-giving platform that allows users to win premium items and cash prizes of up to PHP50,000 depending on the accumulated points.
As the name suggests, every tap and click on the platform is equivalent to incremental points. These points are earned through various platform interactions, such as registration, referral, and engagement in the channel’s programs and events.
Registration is made via pie.com.ph. More so, PIE channel can be accessed through cable TV and IPTV systems nationwide, PIE YouTube channel, Gcash, and GlobeOne app.
The big bosses’ dream
One driving force that puts PIE channel on strong momentum to date is the vision of the executives, one which involves the audience. As emphasized by Channel Head of PIE Alex Asuncion, “We wanted to extend the celebration of PIE’s first anniversary to our KatroPIEs by assembling them on this special day.”
“The idea was to provide them with opportunities to see and bond with PIE jocks, enjoy themselves at the program booths, earn points, and win prizes — and essentially make the channel come alive,” he adds.
The vision is enforced more strongly by Kroma Entertainment’s Head of Broadcast Jil Go, who states, “We would love for everyone to get the total Pindot PIEnalo experience– not just by engaging Katropies on TV and digital but also by having physical events such as this.”
She left a resounding promise of bringing in more fun in the future, with existing campaigns such as PIE-sta on Wheels already on a roll. “The fun won’t end today— there will be more barangay activities, mall shows, and other events in the days to come and a lot more to look forward to on TV and on digital.”
