How would you rate Sarah Geronimo’s performance of “Voltes V No Uta?”
ABS-CBN singer Sarah Geronimo went viral recently for a throwback video wherein she performed the “Voltes V” theme song.
The video clip, which was taken in 2012, shows Sarah singing enthusiastically while moving her shoulders to the beat. Towards the end of the song, Sarah told the crowd: “Tingnan niyo naman…palakpakan niyo naman ako!”

GMA-7’s new TV show, “Voltes V: Legacy,” is a live-action adaptation of the classic ’70s Japanese anime, Voltes V.
Julie Anne San Jose’s own version of “Voltes V No Uta” is now being used as the official opening theme song of “Voltes V: Legacy.” The behind-the-scenes video of her recording “Voltes V No Uta” has already registered over 10 million views since its release last May 8.

The Kapuso show aired its pilot episode on May 8, 2023 and stars Miguel Tanfelix as Steve Armstrong, Ysabel Ortega as Jamie Robinson, Radson Flores as Mark Gordon. Matt Lozano is cast as Robert “Big Bert” Armstrong while Raphael Landicho plays “Little Jon” Armstrong.
“Voltes V: Legacy” follows the story of the Armstrong brothers who are tasked with piloting the giant robot Voltes V to defend Earth from the Boazanian Empire which plans to conquer the planet.
For fans of the original anime series, “Voltes V: Legacy” is a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The show features many of the same characters and storylines from the original series, but with a modern twist.
