They will play mother and son!
Screen veteran Sharon Cuneta took her excitement to Instagram on Monday, June 12, as she shared photographs of her with the team she is set to work with in the upcoming film “Swipe Right, Ma”
It comes with a caption that reads, “My latest movie is under Cineko Productions and Direk Nuel Naval with a script by Mel Del Rosario.”
Alden Richards, seen all cuddled up with Sharon in the photo, is set to play as the megastar’s son— referring to him as her “new movie son.”
“In photo are all of us and workshop facilitator (and girl with awesome pedigree – her mom is Direk Laurice Guillen and her dad is the late Johnny Delgado!) Ina Feleo!,” she adds. Sharon then finishes her post with, “Thank you Lord for a great project! Super excited!!!’
The elation is just as high on Alden’s end as he shares a photograph of him kissing the megastar on the head. The caption reads, “Excited for this…@reallysharoncuneta.”
Sharon and Alden is already preparing for the film
According to a PEP.ph report, Sharon and Alden both plunged already into taking a workshop to adjust their familiarity with each other. Coming shortly after that is a full-packed schedule, with a look test and story conference set to happen on June 15. This will be followed by their first shooting on June 20.
Further details about the entire cast, the plot, and the release date have yet to be determined.
The project comes as Alden and Sharon’s first movie together. The announcement has already received a positive response from social media, with some showbiz personalities commenting about their excitement over the collaboration.
On top of a movie with the megastar, Alden is also currently working with actress Julia Montes for a film “Five Break-ups And A Romance”—a film collaboration of GMA Pictures, Cornerstone Studios, and Myriad.
