“Encantadia” will make Solenn Heussaff return to TV
Solenn Heussaff is embracing her role as a mother and has decided to take a hiatus from accepting acting projects, be it for TV or movies.
In fact, she is on hiatus from showbiz now to focus on motherhood.
Solenn says in her interview with PEP.ph, “I mean, maybe in the next two years if I really like the project. But for now, yeah, I’m enjoying [motherhood].”
But it seems like there is one show that might make her return to doing television projects: “Encantadia.”
Notably, the Kapuso Network is working on “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre,” a spin-off to the popular telefantasya series “Encantadia,” which first aired in 2005 and had a remake in 2016.
In the 2016 series, Solenn played the pivotal character of Cassiopea, the first queen of the fictional realm of Lireo who later became a Bathaluman, a powerful creature in the kingdom of Encantadia.
Recently, GMA-7 announced that Bianca Umali will portray the role of Terra in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre,” with Faith Da Silva, Kelvin Miranda, and Angel Guardian as the other new Sang’gres.
Glaiza de Castro will also reprise her role as Pirena while Rhian Ramos is included in the show as Mitena, the Ice Queen. Interestingly, Solenn also portrayed the Ice Queen in the cliffhanger scene of the final episode.
In the interview, Solenn was asked if she wants to become part of the new version.
She answered, “That, I said, if there’s ‘Encantadia,’ I will do it.”
Solenn Heussaff as a mom
Solenn, along with her husband Nico Bolzico, is relishing her life as a mother to two adorable daughters: three-year-old Tili and their 10-month-old baby girl, Maëlys Lionel.
During an interview with PEP.ph on October 16, 2023, Solenn shared her thoughts on her journey as a mother.
“I love it, which is why I’m just a mom at the moment,” she mentioned during the grand opening of Gentle Monster in Shangri-La at the Fort, Bonifacio Global City.
Solenn emphasized that she is currently focused on her role as a mother and is not actively pursuing her showbiz career.
“I have my side businesses, but I’m not really in showbiz so much because I’m super just taking advantage of the young age [of my kids]. And then later on, when they won’t want me anymore, then I’ll start working again.”
