Glaiza de Castro reprises her role as Pirena while Rhian Ramos is set to play a powerful queen
The full cast of the “Encantadia” spin-off, titled “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre,” has been revealed.
Over the past two weeks, the characters playing the new Sang’gres were already revealed in the previous announcement: Bianca Umali, Angel Guardian, Faith da Silva, and Kelvin Miranda.

On Friday, November 3, the other cast members who will play important roles in “Sang’gre” were announced in a report by “24 Oras.”
Glaiza de Castro, who played Sang’gre Pirena in the 2016 version of “Encantadia,” remains as part of the cast. It has yet to be announced if her Sang’gre sisters played by Kylie Padilla, Gabbi Garcia, and Sanya Lopez.

Rhian Ramos is joining the cast of “Sang’gre” as Mitena, the Ice Queen who is posed as the next major villain in the show. The Mitena character first appeared in a cliffhanger for the 2016 version’s finale. She was introduced as the twin of Cassiopea, played by Solenn Heussaff.
The project serves as Glaiza and Rhian’s reunion after eight years. Their tandem became a hit when they worked together in the 2015 LGBT-themed series “The Rich Man’s Daughter.”
Other cast members of “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” are Bianca Manalo, Ricky Davao, Sherilyn Reyes-Tan, Luis Hontiveros, and Sparkle promising artists Pam Prinster, Vito and Kiel Gueco, Shuvee Etrata, and Vince Maristela.
It has yet to be announced when the project directed by Mark Reyes will start shooting but reports say that it will be aired in 2024.
