Meet the new Sang’gres of the kingdom of Encantadia!
In case you missed it, loyal fans of the hit Kapuso fantasy series “Encantadia” are set to meet three new Sang’gres for its upcoming spin-off, “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.”
On Friday, October 27, three faces were introduced to join Sparkle prime artist Bianca Umali as the new batch of Sang’gres.
Faith, a graduate of “StarStruck” season six and known for playing kontrabida roles, is set to play Sang’gre Flamarra, the new heir of the fire gem.
Angel, touted as the first champion of “Running Man Philippines,” is portraying Sang’gre Deia, the new keeper of the air gem.
Meanwhile, Kelvin, the lone male Sang’gre who has been part of several projects such as ANIMA Studios’ “Missed Connections,” will play Adamus, the keeper of the water gem.
Bianca was previously announced as Sang’gre Terra, the new keeper of the earth gem.
“Sang’gre” is set to take off from the 2016 version of “Encantadia,” headlined by Glaiza de Castro, Kylie Padilla, Gabbi Garcia, and Sanya Lopez. The four 2016 Sang’gres have all expressed their interest in becoming part of the new “Encantadia” installment.
Solenn Heussaff, who plays the role of Cassiopea, also expressed interest in joining “Sang’gre.” It may be recalled that the 2016 version ended in a cliffhanger introducing the presence of an Ice Queen, who is the sister of Cassiopea, also played by Solenn.
The younger versions of the new-generation Sang’gres were also included in the cliffhanger.
Meanwhile, another important cast member is set to be introduced on Friday, November 3.
“Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” will be directed by Mark Reyes and is slated to air in 2024.
