Congratulations, “Voltes V” cast!
The “Voltes V: Legacy” cast is off to put the country on the global pop culture map by taking part in the San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC) 2023, one of the biggest pop culture events.
The team behind the live-action adaptation of the popular Japanese anime has been invited by Dogu Publishing in the biggest annual comics convention, which is happening at the San Diego Convention Center from July 20 to 23, 2023.
Some of the “Voltes V: Legacy” cast members, namely Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, and Gabby Eigenmann, along with the show creators were all smiles as they took a photo outside of the venue.

‘Voltes V’ cast conquers SDCC
According to Dogu Publishing CEO Jerry Blank, they aim to expand the reach of international panels from around the globe, driving the way for a more diverse comic book industry.
Making the team’s venture into the annual event even special is the fact that it would be the first time that a Philippine TV program is partaking in the panel to share insights about the show and its creation.
The “Voltes V” team will formally make its SDCC debut on July 22, 2023, from 10 am to 11 am at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina.
Afterward, the cast will be signing a limited-edition poster on the convention floor.
SDCC 2023 has announced a variety of comic creators and celebrities as its “special guests.”
Those include Korean-American comic book artist and President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics, Jim Lee, Japanese horror Manga artist Junji Ito, and “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “Spawn” creator Todd McFarlane, among others.
The SDCC began in 1970 and has become among the most-anticipated international events that showcase pop culture ranging from comic books, films, TV shows, games, and toys.
Over the years, the event likewise gained popularity as a launchpad to announce and promote projects and products in the abovementioned industries.
Apart from the fans and pop culture enthusiasts, celebrities also flock to the event, as well as authors, directors, writers, and other names in the creative field.
