Xian: “Leave my family and friends out of this insignificant issue”
Xian Lim has bared on his Instagram account his sentiments about his true calling and the people who are easily swayed by ”deceiving headlines” amid “plenty of hearsay.”

Xian took to Instagram his statement on an unspecified issue on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
The 34-year-old actor first narrates his calling in this world, which he says is to be an inspiration to those who walk the road less traveled by.
He begins (published as is), “Hi everyone, let me share with you a story.
“My whole purpose of being in this world is to be a blessing to those around me. May it be in the films that I make, the podcast that I create, the paintings that I exhibit or even as simple as posting content in my social media account.
“It’s designed to find that one soul who see themselves in me. A misfit. A misfit in a society who clamours for perfection. A misfit in life, a black sheep if you will.

Xian then emphasizes the need to think critically now that there is rampant perpetuation of falsified truths nowadays. More so, he pleads that his family and friends be spared from the “insignificant issue.”
He writes, “Plenty of hearsay happening right now and I would like to ask everyone to be mindful of what you chose to believe in deceiving headlines and other information used to just pretend to know that whole story for personal gain and traction.
“I ask to be mindful of what you share. Leave my family and friends out of this insignificant issue compared to what is happening in the world, our country, or even deep within ourselves.
More so, Xian has drawn a line between himself and showbiz He shares, “I am in the entertainment industry but I am not here to entertain.
“I am here to express, I am here to breathe life to the characters I Play. I am here to tell you a story in whatever shape or form it may be.
“I am not here to explain and satisfy one’s curiosity. I am not here to ask for sympathy and spread hate. That is not who I am.

Ultimately, Xian left a self-affirming note that reads, “Mahal ko ang mga tao sa paligid ko. Mahal ko ang pagkakataon na naibigay sa akin ng tadhana and I will continue to use my voice to share my purpose.
“I will continue to find it, search for it, and be the best version of me that I can become and hopefully leave a mark in this lifetime.”

Is Xian Lim alluding to the recent breakup rumor with Kim Chiu?
Xian’s post followed his girlfriend Kim Chiu’s statement about rumors of their breakup, which the latter had dismissed and belied.
Speaking with the press during the “Linlang” media conference, Kim says that there’s no truth behind the ongoing speculation that she and Xian had parted ways already.
As she puts it, “Baka nalilinlang lang kayo,” which comes parallel to Xian’s succeeding statement about “deceiving headlines.”
Kim even clarifies that even while the showbiz industry is “mapanlinlang,” his relationship with Xian remains on good terms.
