Yasser admits having a difficult time balancing family, career, and love life
Sparkle artist Yasser Marta reveals that he and Kate Valdez parted ways roughly three months ago, along with the reasons why they decided to do so.

In a report by PEP.ph, the 27-year-old actor has admitted that their careers hold no bearing over their split. But he emphasizes that he wants to focus now on his projects, “Eat Bulaga!” and “Lovers/Liars.“
More than that, Yasser reveals having to deal with personal problems—which heavily strained his work and love life.
He says, “Well, siguro para matapos na. Number one kasi sa akin yung nagkasakit ang nanay ko. Na-stroke siya.
“E, sa bahay, tatlo lang naman kami—ako, nanay ko, at kapatid ko. Noong na-stroke siya, kailangan ko siyang alagaan.
Yasser also admits having to deal with depression, as work and family duties persistently called on a daily basis. With that, he felt the need to sacrifice for his mother.
“E, siyempre, nanay ko pa rin po talaga yon. Kaya yung oras ko, binuhos ko po talaga sa kanya,” he says.

The actor has also come to terms with his misgivings, when confronted if his priorities led to a relationship conflict with Kate.
According to him, “Halu-halo na lang. Ako rin naman ang may problema. Hindi ko alam kung paano pagsasabayin. Ako talaga.”
More so, Yasser says that he is in good terms with Kate’s family. In fact, they used to go out of town when they were still together. But sacrifices must be made, as according to him, “sayang ang opportunity, yung work, then yung magulang.
“Parang isa lang ang katawan ko, baka bumigay ako,” he adds.
Did Yasser Marta and Kate Valdez ever have a closure?
When asked if they cordially parted ways, Yasser says, “Nagkausap naman kami nang maayos.”
But while they got to rest their relationship on a genial note, he reveals that their status is still, “Hindi okay.”
He says, “Wala na kaming communication. Hindi kami nagkikita ulit. Hindi na kami nag-uusap. Siguro, through friends na lang.”

With projects left and right, Yasser reveals that he tends to disregard his feelings nowadays. As for him, his life seems auto-piloted since he has to work and do taping monotonously.
Despite this, Yasser says he found an anchor in some of his friends from “Eat Bulaga!” He says, “sila ang naging support group ko noong panahon na nag-break kami, nagkasakit si Mama. Tinulungan nila ako.”
Yasser and Kate’s relationship lasted for almost a year. Yasser will banner GMA-7 and Regal Entertainment’s collaboration, “Lovers/Liars.”
Meanwhile, Kate currently headlines the upcoming “Shining Inheritance” remake.
