Beauty influencer and recent MTV star Bretman Rock gave a tour of his cozy Hawaiian home back in May, but if you missed it, now’s the time to check it out.
The 22-year-old gave Architectural Digest an exclusive tour of his three-story mansion nestled in between the mountains of Hawaii. Filled with lush greenery and expansive space, Rock couldn’t help but bask in its aura.
“I wanted the house to feel as if a cool, gay island kid got really rich. It needed to scream ‘gay Asian immigrant success.’ I wanted to live that fantasy,” he remarked.
The home, which is still under renovation, includes five bedrooms, an attic, and a patio and front yard area. Hawaii-based design firm MCYIA helped the internet celeb to craft a home full of color and eclectic pieces; they first started by whitewashing the formerly yellow walls and adding feature walls in the colors plum, rust, and gray.
Chuen Yee, who led the design, finished off the interior with neutral tropics-inspired Philip Jeffries prints.
To match the vibrance of his walls, Rock thought to incorporate local artwork and Filipino-designed furniture. Most notably, he sourced pieces from Kenneth Cobonpue from the Philippines, like his Dragnet lounge furniture and bloom chair.

“A lot of the pieces you see in this house you might recognize in luxury Asian homes,” Rock shared, noting that some Bling Empire fans might even notice some familiar items.
He also showed off his BretMan Cave, which was complete with a pool table, Mahjong set, and a wall full of crystals. Boasting high shed ceilings and panoramic windows, the BretMan Cave is definitely one of the reality star’s favorites.
“Whenever I’m manifesting or journaling, I like to stay in this room because of all the energy,” Rock said.
