Belle Mariano relates personal style with self-love
“Can’t Buy Me Love” headliner Belle Mariano flaunts her own style as a form of self-identity more than an impression. Urging the audience to explore past their comfort corners, she guarantees a road leading to confidence.
During the launch of SHEIN Philippine’s fourth pop-up store at the Festival Mall in Alabang, returning brand ambassador Belle sends out a message not only to her generation, but including all ages as well.
Sincerely, she says, “I think this doesn’t just go for my generation, this goes for all generations.
“I would say, just… you know, not to be afraid to get out of your box. To get out of your comfort zone and I think what I love about SHEIN, it also somehow advocates self-love. That’s what I love about it.”
Taking her lifestyle into account, Belle instills finding one’s style equates to embracing oneself.
The actress continues, “Personally, I get to be more confident whenever I style myself and express myself.
“So that’s a piece of advice I would share to everyone, na just love yourself and, you know, just dress however you are confident. Kung saan ka komportable and confident.”

A look into Belle’s closet favorites and must-haves
With the broad variety of clothes, Belle finds it almost impossible to have a single pick. The actress admits her SHEIN cart is a pile of fashion pieces especially because she also does not only stick to a specific style.
That is because she normally goes by what she’s feeling in a day. As an outcome, having many options puts her in a pickle when asked to decide on a favorite.
Belle stresses, “Ang hirap namang pumili! Sobrang hirap kasi I admit sobrang daming laman ng cart ko personally, and ang dami kong variety ng outfits and styles.
“I can’t decide. I think how I style myself is really depends on my mood. Let’s say, today, if I feel like dressing up like this, I would. Or if I feel like dressing up, you know, glamorous, I would. Ang daming options.
“Let’s say, if i want to go for something medyo laidback, mahilig akong mag ternong outfits. If you want to make it a bit stylish, pair it up with heels. Classic pair of jeans would do, t-shirt, dress, of course, hindi mawawala sa akin ‘yan. So lahat! Ang hirap po talagang pumili.
Having mentioned her love for dresses, since the humid weather is also expected to strengthen as summer is nearing, Belle labels it as her fashion staple for summertime.
She reveals, “Summer must-have? I think hindi mawawala ang dress for me. So, for me, personally, I like going for flowy dresses, you know? It really matches the vibe for summer.
The Kapamilya actress-singer began her journey with SHEIN in October 2022. Right after, she marked her renewal as the brand ambassador on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.
