Ria and Zanjoe got married a month after their engagement!
Showbiz couple Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo got married in a civil wedding on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
The wedding, facilitated by incumbent Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, was attended by the couple’s close friends and family members.
Zanjoe took to Instagram the wonderful news, sharing some snippets of the event, which happened to have coincided with Ria’s birthday.
He writes, “03. 23. 24. Happy Birthday MY WIFE [heart emoji]
In the series of photos shared by Zanjoe, Ria can be seen wearing an off-shoulder, sleeved, sweetheart wedding gown. Zanjoe, on the other hand, is seen donning a classic black tuxedo paired with white polo.
Some of the couple’s celebrity friends were then quick to offer their congratulatory remarks—including Vice Ganda, Loisa Andalio, Jason Abalos, Liz Uy, Eula Valdez, Victor Basa, Isabelle Daza, Bianca Gonzales, Maxene Magalona and many others.
Ria and Zanjoe’s relationship first made rounds in August 2022—when they were both seen spending together at a restaurant in New York, USA with some friends.

In October of the same year, Ria’s mother,. Sylvia Sanchez, revealed that the two of them are actually an item. Two years later, they then announced their engagement through an Instagram post.
Zanjoe and Ria used to work together in the television series “My Dear Heart” in 2017.
