Zanjoe Marudo has already put an engagement ring on fiancee Ria Atayde, as announced by the actress on her Instagram account on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
Captioned with, “Forever sounds good,” Ria has shared some of the photos she has with Zanjoe—one of which shows a diamond engagement ring.
In the comment, Zanjoe has left a response that reads, “And tastes even better [heart emoji]”
Fans and celebrity friends have also then flocked to Ria’s comment section to air their congratulatory remarks and well-wishes. Some of the celebrities are Angelica Panganiban, Jolina Magdangal, Joshua Garcia, Rayver Cruz, Bianca Manalo, Kaila Estrada, Darren Espanto, and many more.
Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde’s romance
Zanjoe and Ria’s relationship has reached the public radar in 2022, when Ria’s mother, Sylvia Sanchez, announced that the two are romantically involved with each other.
In the ensuing months, Zanjoe and Ria were spotted hanging out together, including that one time they attended an Eraserheads concert in December 22, 2022.
The couple have also graced together the ABS-CBN Ball on September 30, 2023.

In January 2023, Zanjoe outrightly confirmed their ongoing romance in an interview with Karen Davila for the “Headstart” segment in ANC.
When Karen asked for confirmation, Zanjoe reveals, “Yes. Parang it’s out in the open naman na, so yes.”
At that time, Zanjoe says that the prospect of getting married is too early. He says, “Sobra lang akong nag-e-enjoy ngayon sa sitwasyon ng buhay ko, sa career, sa personal life, pero yung mga ganyang bagay, masyado pang maaga.”
As for Ria, she reveals in a vlog interview with Bernadette Sembrano that her relationship with the actor is full of “mutual respect” and “mutual admiration.”
Zanjoe and Ria co-starred in the ABS-CBN series, “Dear Heart” in 2017. On top of that, they are also part of the same showbiz circle with Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Marco Gumabao, Patrick Sugui, Dominic Roque, Alora Sasam, and Joshua Garcia.
