Andi writes: “Nasa paraiso ka na, Nanay”
Andi Eigenmann, daughter of the late Jaclyn Jose, has written a poetic farewell message for the veteran actress in commemoration of her well-lived life as a mother.
Andi’s poem was a visual and lyrical composition, which she published on Instagram on Tuesday, March 13, 2024.
She writes (published as is), “Higit pa sa sapat ang itinira mong pagmamahal para kami ay hindi mangulila. Habang buhay kong dadalhin ang iyong mga ala-ala.
“Maraming salamat sa iyong gabay, Nay. Sa kahit saang parte ng aking buhay parati kitang madarama. Parati kitang makikita.
“Ika’y nasa araw, sa ulan, at sa hanging aking nilalasap. Umaawit ng kantang puno ng pag-asa at ligaya.
“Wala na ang sakit. Wala na ang takot. Matatanaw pa rin kita sa mga ulap, at maririnig ang mga bulong ng iyong pagmamahal. Magkikita din tayong muli. Sa ngayon diringgin ko muna ang iyong mga awit.
“Nasa paraiso ka na, Nanay. Pahinga ka na. [white heart emoji]”
The post comes with a series of photos, including shots of butterflies, sunflower bouquets, and Jaclyn’s portrait during her wake.
Prior to this, Andi has also commemorated the life of her mother through a press conference on march 4, 2024. At that time, Andi says that her mother’s life had been her greatest “obra maestra.”
Andi is Jaclyn’s daughter with the late actor Mark Gil.

Jaclyn’s love for Andi is attested stronger by a photo published by Philmar Alipayo—Andi’s boyfriend. In an uploaded screenshot on Instagram, it can be seen that Jaclyn had asked Philmar to look after her daughter and grandchildren.
Her message reads (published as is), “Any which way… take care of my daughter and to my apo’s.. alam mo? Mahal kita Philmar you are the father of my apo’s maramaing salamat.”
Gabby Eigenmann pledges to look after Andi Eigenmann and family
Andi’s half-brother, Gabby Eigenmann, has also penned a farewell message—promising that he will take care of their bereaved family.
He writes, “Wag ka na magalala Tita Jane ako na ang gagabay sa kanila. Mananatili ka sa puso namin at lagi kong ipapadama sa kanila kung gaano mo sila minahal ng lubos.
“Mahal kita Tita Jane at ako’y nagpapasalamat dahil nadama ko din ang pagmamahal mo sa akin at sa aking pamilya.
“May ngiti na sa aking mukha dahil alam ko na mas masaya ka na sa piling ni God kasama si Daddy at Tita Cherie. Salamat uli sa lahat lahat. Cheers Love You.”
In the comment, Andi replies with a short, “Love you Kuya [heart emoji]”
Jaclyn and her legacy is deemed as a pillar of the Philippine entertainment industry, mainly for the works and achievements she made.
She was the first-ever Filipina recipient of the prestigious Best Actress award from the Cannes Film Festival in 2016. Such a feat was achieved through her important portrayal in Brillante Mendoza’s “Ma’ Rosa.”

Jaclyn died at the age of 60 due to myocardial infarction or commonly known as heart attack. According to reports, she died on March 2, 2024—two days before being discovered and publicly pronounced dead.
